Aki Kharmicel and SCVTTERBRVIN join forces for the first time on a six song, nineteen-minute album scheduled to release on June 19, 2019. Both are producer/emcees from San Diego that have been independently lapping with quality for over a decade, however each take on one lane for the duration of the project without reversal; Aki Kharmicel on the mic and SCVTTERBRVIN on production.

“SnottyRag” sounds like a South East revolutionary-space flight navigating through different instruments, moods, and distorted frequencies. Aki Kharmicel’s delivery is a smooth and playfully methodical narration of local betrayal, cutting foolish ties and leaving roses on the casket. SCVTTERBRVIN’s villainous samples and perpetual drums are coated in flutes, string loops and organs. Eerie frequencies as if sounds of acid flashbacks, and deep thoughts in muffled speech are laced throughout the album as tracks take turns like the ups and downs of a journey at war.

The project meets individual expectations of artists. The eclectic singing and thorough rhymes, explorative bold-bodied beats, and SCVTTERBRVIN’s surreal artwork result in a strong collaboration. Notable tracks include Evilland, an inner-city monster anthem, and Edwige, a dreamlike tale of a girl. Cassette tape pre-orders are available now
